welcome!

I recently graduated from UMass Amherst with a Biology degree, and am now undertaking a gap year (or years...) before pursuing medical school. Currently, I am on a Fulbright Scholarship as an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) in Madagascar!

I started this website/blog when I left for a semester abroad to Bhutan. As someone who struggles with staying in touch with family and friends while adjusting to a new setting, I like using this platform to share updates and photos.

I hope to continue sharing my experiences, as a personal time capsule or to whoever may be interested in my both the challenges and triumphs from navigating life in a new country.
